The Willow Farm Gives Back

Community charity

Willow Classroom Fun

The Willow Farm is located in a rural community where the environment stimulates creativity and art.  In additon to our family  supporting and volunteering in  our local schools,  we have been able to donate to other counties within the Bay Area.

After a project with The Children’s Discovery Museum, we were contacted by Wild Zones,  whose mission is  to nurture a generation of youth who love the earth and love their own lives. We continue to donate to this organization and are thrilled that so many more children can experience the joy of imagination and nature.

“Thank you so much for your generous donation of curly willow for our recent events. It was such a great material and so many people enjoyed using it. People built forts and made sculpture and children had a great time just carrying it around.  Some of the willow has gone to a play project in the Canal District of San Rafael and the rest will be used by after school programs and at our regular monthly Family Play Days at Ulistac Natural Area in Santa Clara.” – Karen Payne and David Hawkins, Co-Founders
