New additions to the Farm!

Winter Lambs

Dorper LambThe Willow Farm in now proud to welcome a few new additions to the flock. Well, 16 new additions, to be exact. The other morning I had the pleasure of starting the day to the sight of adorable newborn lambs. No matter how many times you’ve seen a tiny lamb slowly wake up to the new world around them, you can’t help but marvel at such a precious creature. While this was an unplanned lambing (one determined ram was able to find his way to a small group of ewes), it is no less a welcome addition. To see a lamb frolic with such innocence, is to be overcome with happiness. The timing is always right for that. (more…)

Farm Tour and Lamb Lunch

Thanks to everyone who came out for our farm tour & lamb lunch on Sunday! Your support made this event a resounding success. It was truly wonderful to share the enthusiasm in celebrating our community and good local food. We certainly hope to have introduced many of you to the wonderful flavors of our lamb and the balanced lifestyle we embrace here at The Willow Farm. We hope to see all of you at our future events!

The owners, Neil and Alix Curry, emigrated from Australia twenty years ago and their farm is the culmination of a business vision driven by the desire to be profitable without compromising ecologically sound farming practices.
