The rods are optional; there are many examples of garden beds that exclude these rods. The way this order was places was: We have four 3’ Wide x 8’ Long garden boxes that are 2’ high. So, (8) 3’ W x 2’ H and (8) 8’ W x 2’ H and 16 2’ H eucalyptus rods were ordered.
